Dear
Mr. Trulaske:
I'm 59. This is the
second time in my life I've been
so knocked out by a commercial product
I'm taking the time to let the owner
know. By the way, the other time
involved a BMW 750IL about ten years
ago.
I just bought a TRUE
Z8.1 upright exercycle from GymSource.com
(also terrific). Through faulty
research on my park and lack of
familiarity with TRUE, I had bought
a Cybex bike, also from GymSource.
When I complained about the Cybex
the day after receiving it, my Gym
Source rep recommended the TRUE,
and I swapped them out. To say it
was night and day is an understatement.
I've been using heart rate control
bikes for twenty years, first Cateye,
then Combi, so I love the concept
and am pretty familiar with it.
Your bike is sensational!
I've never seen a product that advances
the state of the art as far as this
on does. The quality in it is obvious.
The measurement features seem very
precise. The heart rate monitor
is smooth; readings don't jump back
and forth. The bike is smooth as
silk to ride. The programs, especially
the HRC intervals, are unique and
innovative. ECG is fun. That I scored
a 52 on the fitness test this morning
has nothing to do with my enthusiasm
for the product.
Congratulations for
the Z8.1: providing an on and off
switch for those of us who like
the AC feature. That way we don't
have to plug and unplug.
I've come to believe
in recovery rate as a measure of
fitness. My trainer and I compete,
for example, to see how much the
heart rate drops in the 60 seconds
following our workouts. It would
be useful, during the interval program,
the see the elapsed time it takes
for the heart rate to drop from
peak level to trough level.
Congratulations again
on making the incredible Z8.1.
Sincerely,
Hal Gaba
