We purchased our TRUE 450P Series
treadmill in October 1997. Our climate is such that I use the treadmill
for 8 months of the year when the weather is not conductive to safe running
outdoors.
This morning, during a 6 mile run on the treadmill, I was
musing, amongst other things, about how reliable my “mill” has
performed over the years. At an average weekly mileage of 25 miles, over
an 8.5 year stretch, the machine has logged 8,287.5 miles of virtually
trouble free running.
This worry free performance has been particularly important
to me since 2002 when I was diagnosed with cancer in the form of Non-Hodgkins
lymphoma.
I have since been through 2 regimes of chemotherapy and
the medical experts are confident that my body has tolerated the ravages
of treatment particularly well due to my physical condiditoning.
When I began serious running in 1989, I did so with the knowledge that
it would improve the quality of life; little did I realize that some
years later, it would become a significant factor in saving my life.
My TRUE treadmill has performed an admirable service in
terms of keeping my body strong and in turn, this keeps my psyche and
my spirit strong as well.
The point of my message is quite simple; thank you for developing
and building a high quality machine that I rely on to enhance my life.
